Mr. James Arbib
Jamie is the co-Founder of RethinkX, a not-for-profit think tank that analyses the non-linear nature of technology disruption across theeconomy and its broad implications across society. It aims to provide key decision makers(policy makers, investors and businesses) with insight and data that captures the potential andimplications of these disruptions, to help society make better choices. He also serves in a numberof advisory roles in the Investment and Sustainability sectors.
Jamie has a History degree from Trinity College, Cambridge and a Masters in SustainabilityLeadership, also from Cambridge. He is a qualified chartered accountant and worked inInvestment Banking in London as an investment analyst covering Utilities. He currently works as an Investor. Jamie oversees a family office based in London, concentrating on asset allocationand manager selection. The office takes a long-term perspective and is interested inunderstanding the long-term investment implications of the technology revolution. He alsospecializes in technology venture capital with a focus on Clean Technology. He is the founder of Tellus Mater, a grant-making foundation that aims to help speed the energytransition. The specific area of focus is the finance system and TM aims to help quantify the risksand opportunities associated with the energy transition.
